Brawn is actually just like Ham.... for snadwhiches

So here I am again. Still living in Africa. And by the way we have this stuff called brawn. It's pretty7 much like baloney. I'm not the biggest fan. I must say thanks to everyone who has been praying for Brian and Freddy. I have a story to tell. Yesterday I was walking with Brian to the super market, and I had been praying for a few days that God would really open a door to talk with about Jesus bc I didn't want to force a convo. So we were walking and I had this peace about bringing it up. I asked him how long he had been a Christian and then i got to share my testimony and then asked him if he knew for sure he would go to heaven when he died. He said that he coulnd't be sure. He thought if you didn't confess a sin before you died a\you would go to hell. Well I shared with him the love of Jesus and that's a gift from God. I shared a few verses with Him and then ended with the question asking him if he knew now. He said he knmew.I asked if that helped any. He said it was like a ton off his chest was lifted. So I aked him again if he knew what would happen and he said he knew. I asked why he knew. You know what he told me? He told he knows because of Jesus Christ. So I gave him a fist pound. It was fantastic. So we may get to have a quiet time together next week if he feels like it. So thanks for you guys who have been praying for us and the peeps here. Yeah so awesome. Things are still rockin over here in Africa. I even started reading this novel by Francine Rivers, Redeeming Love. It's pretty cool. All of us, guys and girl and into the Francine Rivers novels. Weird I know. WEll a lil more fyi, I have really been drawn closer to God from being here. I have grown in my relatoinship with Him from being here. I';m kinda ready to go home and live out all this stuff i've taken in. It's diff here. I can't live it out like back at home in our culture. It's so diff here. But it's all gravy. Hope you guys and gals have a stupendous week.

Cory, thats awesome about the walk with Brian. And I see that your walk with God is awesome also. You said if God would work through you to inspire, change or draw someone closer to him you'd be satisfied with your mission trip. Brian maybe the one, that you can see, but I'm sure there are more that you've touched that God has yet to reveal to you. I'm so proud of you Cory for showing your faith and strenght to do what God has asked you to do. Everyone here is doing fine, MawMaw&PawPaw say hello. Cant wait to see you. To God be the glory. Love ya Dad
