Just a few words...
Hello everyone. It's me again. Well it would only be me to put stuff on this page. So anyway. We got a few minutes to stop by the cyber so I wanted to post. This Thursday I will post some pictures of Africa on here. We had an interesting weekend. Oh, and aunt Sue, there is pizza in Nairobi. We had some when we first got here. It was perry perry and chicken and beef. Perry perry is like peppers and spice stuff. It was different but good. There is none in Machakos. Last Friday we went to a children's home to play the kids for the whole day. I'm not used to kids, so it was different. I enjoyed it alot. We all did. We spent most of our time with about 10 2year olds in a room. It was me and the two other guys with me. They were crazy. We had a blast. Saturday we spent some time in a small Bible study at a high school. They quoted scripture from memory and then we all got to share what God had been teaching us in our daily quiet times. It was good stuff. Sunday we went to church. I didn't like it that much. Too many announcements and s short sermon. LOL. I'm being serious. Like 30 minutes of announcements and 8 minutes about prayer. But afterwards we broke up into small groups and talked about prayer and stuff for an hour. I liked that. After that we went to a boys boarding school and got to pass out a Bible study for the students to do during the week and we talked for about an hour about unconditional love and dfellowship with unbelievers. It was really good. They answered their questions using the Word. crazy huh. It was quite different from students over in the states. They were rooted well in Christ. After we left there we went back home and met with students that are in a core group. We had some fellowship and teamwork games with them with some tea and snacks. These are people who have gradated high school and may be in college or are waiting to go. There were some older than I. We enjoyed it. I am still being challenged in many ways in my walk with the Lord. I like it. Not at the moments when I am struggling of course. The Lord wants His children to be mature and complete, not lacking anything(james 1:4). So I think I will be back on this thing again in a few days with maybe some pictures of Africa and the people here and my bald head. Thanks for all your prayers.

Hey Cory - good to hear from you again and I can't wait to see your bald head!! Been there, done that. It makes getting ready in the morning a breeze! It will be cooler for you too. Speaking of, how's the weather there? Is it as humid as Louisiana? Everyone on our side of Deville is fine. Charlie is driving the bus for VBS this week and Sweet Pea is going with him. Heather is in Lafayette at Dispatcher school for Acadian Ambulance. Bart is looking for a job. Brandon is working for his Mom, trying to get on offshore. Katie is busy with stepkids this week. Monica & Mark are on their Mediterranean cruise until June 15th. I took Ryan and Madi Grace to Huntsville, TX this weekend to meet Mark's sister who lives in Austin. They are staying with her until Monica & Mark get back. I'll be in Atlanta working next week so I'll update the Steiners about your travels. Love ya. Aunt Sue
Hey Cory Steiner!!! Great to hear about your adventures in Africa! Sounds like you've been interacting with a very interesting mix of ages and stages of spiritual development. I love that God is not only using you to reach others, he's using folks over there to challenge and inspire you!
Jess left today for big Cali -- she's headed up to some mountains outside of Sacramento for five days of orientation -- out of cell phone range! Yikes!
Then she'll be off to the coast for her missions work!
We're praying for all you great guys as you follow God's lead in your life!
Pay attention!!! Enjoy every minute! Listen! Look for the lesson in unexpected places! Soak it all in!
Be joyful!
Love, love, love!
